Safety centre
How we keep carrying safe, and what to do if something feels wrong.
In an emergency
If anyone is in danger, call the local emergency number now. HelpCarry can’t send help.
At an airport, tell airline or airport staff straight away. For anyone who needs help moving around, contact the airline's special assistance.
If an item looks suspicious
- Don’t accept it. You’re never obliged to carry anything.
- Don’t open sealed packages for someone else. Ask them to show the item and reseal it with you.
- Leave politely, and report it below with the booking or profile link.
- If you think it’s illegal, tell the police or customs.
Our safety rules
Every item is shown, photographed and sealed in front of both people.
Not allowed: medicine for others, cash, weapons, unknown sealed parcels, and food that customs ban.
The seal serial number and photos are saved to the booking.
The delivery code is shared only with the recipient and checked on arrival.
Signed-in adult accounts (18+) only before anyone can post, carry or be a companion. Guests can only look around.
Reviews and reports after every booking.
Meeting a travel buddy
- Meet first in a busy public place at the airport, like the check-in hall or your gate.
- Keep your passport, boarding pass, phone and money with you. Never hand them over.
- Never carry a bag or item for a buddy, and never send money or deposits.
- Share your trip with family using the follow link, and keep chats in the app.
- For mobility or medical needs, book the airline's special assistance. A buddy is company, not a carer.
- Buddies are adults only. Children flying alone should use the airline's unaccompanied minor service.
Report a problem or contact us
A real person reads every report. Include links or booking details if you have them.
